96% whole mackerel, lamb and mussel, air-dried into a ready-to-serve raw alternative.

Product Details +

Some dogs do better on a fish-forward recipe without going fully fish-only — this pairs whole mackerel with lamb rather than one protein carrying the whole bag.

ZIWI Peak's Air-Dried Mackerel & Lamb recipe is 96% whole mackerel, lamb and mussel, built on PeakPrey® ratios that mirror what a dog would naturally eat — no potato, no grains, no rendered meat or meal taking up space in the bag. Whole mackerel is the first ingredient here, with lamb and lamb organs rounding out the amino acid profile and glucosamine supporting hip and joint health.

On top of that base, Z-BOOST® superfoods are worked in: cold-washed green tripe for digestion, New Zealand green mussel for omega-3, and organic kelp for trace minerals. The air-drying process locks in nutrition at low temperature rather than cooking it out, without the freezer space or thawing routine raw food actually demands. Scoop it out of the pouch, serve, done.

Because it's so nutrient-dense, most dogs eat a smaller volume per meal than they would on standard kibble — worth knowing before you measure out the usual scoop.

Key Features

96% whole mackerel, lamb and mussel — real ingredients, not meal or by-product
PeakPrey® recipe design — no potato, no grains, no rendered meat or meal
Z-BOOST® superfoods — cold-washed green tripe, New Zealand green mussel and organic kelp added on top of the meat base
Green mussel for omega-3 — supports skin condition and coat shine
Complete for every life stage — one recipe works from puppy through senior, no formula-switching as your dog ages
No prep, no freezer — shelf-stable at room temperature, scoop straight from the pouch

The 1kg bag suits a small dog, or works as a trial run before committing to a bigger bag. 2.5kg covers a medium dog's regular rotation, and 4kg is built for larger dogs or multi-dog households working through it faster.

Either way, use it within 8 weeks of opening.

FAQ +

Is this suitable for puppies?

Yes. It's formulated as complete and balanced for every life stage, so one bag covers puppy through senior without switching recipes.

What are the Z-BOOST superfoods for?

Green tripe supports digestion, New Zealand green mussel adds omega-3 for skin and coat, and organic kelp supplies trace minerals — added on top of the meat base, not replacing it.

How much should I feed?

Because it's nutrient-dense, most dogs eat a smaller volume than they would on standard kibble. Start with less than your dog's usual serving and adjust based on body condition.

How long does it keep once opened?

Use within 8 weeks of opening. Reseal the pouch tightly and store away from direct sunlight.
